Grasshopper And Ant Story!

Have you heard the story of an ant and a grasshopper! No! OK! Let me tell. There was an ant and a grasshopper. Ant was working hard in withering heat all summer long building his house and laying up supplies for the winter, and, a grasshopper thinks ant as a fool and laughs, dances, plays as well.

The summer away and come winter. The ant is warm and well fed but grasshopper has no food or shelter so he dies out in the cold.

Now look this story in today's context!

The ant is working hard in withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for
the winter and the grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs, dances, plays as well. The summer away and come winter.

Shivering grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the ant should be
allowed to be warm and well fed while others are cold and starving. All the news channels show up to provide pictures of the shivering grasshopper next to a video of the ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food.

World is stunned by the sharp contrast. How can this be that this poor grasshopper is allowed to
suffer so? Fundamental Rights activists stage demonstrations in front of ant's house. Amnesty International and United Nations criticizes government for not upholding the fundamental rights of grasshopper. Internet is flooded with online petitions seeking support to the grasshopper. Opposition MP's stage a walkout. Political parties call for "Bandh" all over demanding Judicial Enquiry. Finally, the Judicial Committee drafts the Prevention of Terrorism Against Grasshoppers Act [POTAGA], with effect from the beginning of the winter.

The ant is fined for failing to comply with POTAGA, and, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by government and handed over to the grasshopper in a ceremony covered by all news channels. Fundamental Rights activists calls it "a triumph of justice". United Nations invites grasshopper to address General Assembly. Isn't it.......

9 Things God Won't Ask...

God won't ask what kind of car you drove,
He'll ask how many people you drove who didn't have transportation.

God won't ask the square footage of your house,
He'll ask how many people you welcomed into your home.

God won't ask about the clothes you had in your closet,
He'll ask how many you helped to clothe.

God won't ask what your highest salary was,
He'll ask if you compromised your character to obtain it.

God won't ask what your job title was,
He'll ask if you performed your job to the best of your ability.

God won't ask how many friends you had,
He'll ask how many people to whom you were a friend.

God won't ask in what neighborhood you lived,
He'll ask how you treated your neighbors.

God won't ask about the color of your skin,
He'll ask about the content of your character.

God won't ask why it took you so long to seek Salvation,
He'll lovingly take you to your mansion in heaven, and not to the gates of Hell.
